Want to know more?

  • Meal Better is a weeknight dinner website and newsletter. Our unique approach and recipes balance our readers' desire for homemade meals with the realities of everyday life, by combining fresh and ready made items to minimize planning, prep, waste, and clean up.

  • You know, a lot of people ask us this. And while there are many meal planning services and food blogs, this is the only one made by us. And we like to think that gives Meal Better a certain je ne sais quoi. We’ve spent hours upon hours studying how and what people like to eat, and how to help women reclaim the mental load they devote to meal planning and prepping.

While we love to throw down in the kitchen when we have time, we also love a good hack. We’ve painstakingly curated time-saving recipes, products, and resources that we swear by, and are excited to share them - and hopefully a laugh or two - with you!

  • Our menus are designed for omnivores - people who eat a bit of everything. We offer swaps and tips, but if you’re navigating a specific diet or have allergies or intolerances, we recommend seeking other resources.

  • We are the food child of Michael Pollan and Ina Garten: eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants. Only ingredients you can pronounce. Seasonal and organic when possible. And store-bought, prepared items are totally fine.

  • Nope. Though we recommend everyone have a jar of chili crisp in their fridge, we won’t make you buy fancy seafood or items you don’t know what to do with. Our recipes rely on common pantry ingredients and easy to find grocery items.
